Location & Attractions

On a hilltop, a mile outside the village of Glandwr. The nearest pub is three miles away in Llanglydwen.

Airport: Cardiff (1hr 20 mins); Swansea (1 hr).
Station: Whitland (20 mins).

The setting is rural and wonderfully peaceful, with the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, two fishing lakes and the rugged peaks of the Preseli Hills all within easy reach.

The magnificent beaches of south Wales are all around, the nearest 14 miles away at Poppet just outsided Cardigan. There is an abundance of wildlife around here too, including buzzards, wild ducks and heron on the pond, owls, badgers and various varieties of bats. The nearest village with a shop and post office is 5-miles away, and you are equidistant from Cardigan, Haverfordwest and Carmarthen.

Beautiful Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion countryside and coastal scenery surround the house. This is an area of local crafts and various organic food producers. You’ll find historic Celtic sites, rugged small beaches and expansive golden sands. The market towns of Cardigan (the nearest town at 14 miles) and Carmarthen are well worth a visit. There is a leisure centre with an indoor pool and a cinema five miles away. Oakwood Theme Park is 20 miles.
Cultural attractions include lots of open-air theatre in the local castle grounds during the summer; live music (ethnic, classical and folk) at Theatre Mwldan in Cardigan and in Narberth; and all the usual theatre productions.
There are two fishing lakes nearby.
